Industrial Age Looks

One of the hottest trends we've seen lately in the furniture markets is the "Industrial Age" theme - furniture re-created for today's lifestyle, but taking its cue from a time when 19th century America was caught up in the excitement of the Industrial Revolution.

With more than a slight nod to the past, this style features clean, simple lines and a respect for function.  Another prominent design element is the use of iron and steel hardware, pulls and wheels - representing the fact that these items were first mass produced and widely used thanks to the advances of the Industrial age.
